The Nordic Centre is a vibrant and welcoming hub for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, offering over 90 km of groomed trails for both skate and classic skiing. With high-quality trail conditions lasting up to five months a year, we serve a passionate community of more than 2,400 season pass holders. Our programs cater to all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds, and we host a wide variety of social events and races throughout the season.

Easily accessible by car or city transit, the Centre is also supported by a dedicated network of nearly 300 volunteers. If you’re passionate about outdoor recreation, community engagement, and providing exceptional guest experiences, we’d love to have you join our team!

We have several positions to fill for the 2025/26 ski season:

Youth Program Coordinator (Full-time)
​
We’re currently seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to lead our popular program for children aged 4 to 12, which welcomes around 200 young skiers each season. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting weekly lessons and activities that help children build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of skiing.
As a Youth program coordinator, you will be in charge of programs falling into the first three categories of the Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD)​:

Learn to Train: JDP Start to Glide and Track Attack

Junior Development Program Coordinator (Seasonal - 200 hours)
​
We are currently looking for a dedicated Junior Development Program Coordinator to lead our cross-country skiing program for youth aged 11 to 18. This seasonal role (approximately 200 hours per season) focuses on coordinating training sessions, supporting athlete development, and helping young skiers build confidence, skills, and a deeper connection to the sport.​ This is NOT a competitive program.
​Great for educators, coaches, or experienced skiers with limited availability.

Customer Services Representative (Full-time)
​
As a Customer Services Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests—welcoming visitors, answering questions, assisting with rentals, and helping ensure every experience on and off the trails is a great one. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and being part of an active winter community, we’d love to hear from you!​​​​
