Wax Of The Day
Posted February 4, 2012
Rode Blue. Use Super Blue it more grip needed.
The snow is now abrasive and grip wax will wear off quickly. Here are a few tips:
1. Take wax and cork with you and rewax as needed. Grip wax will wear off within 5 kilometers.
2. Clean grip zone and then sand with 100 grit sandpaper. The rough surface will retain grip wax for a longer time.
3. Use base binder. There are several brands, but usually Toko Green base binder works well. Grip zone must be clean and then sanded and then base binder ironed on. Ask at The Ski Base for assistance.
