Try Our Trails Coupon Booklet

Try Our Trails Coupon Booklets (5 day pass coupons) will be available beginning October 15, 2011 and throughout the ski season. Coupons will be valid only for the current ski season and are not refundable.

This option is for skiers or snowshoers who plan to use the trails occasionally, or for those who would like to try the trails a few times before committing to buy a season pass.  The booklets also make a great gift for Christmas or birthday or to welcome a newcomer to Whitehorse. 

Adult $50 for a booklet of 5 coupons.  Regular cost of 5 day passes - $60.

Youth/Senior/Student $25 for a booklet of 5 coupons.  Regular cost of 5 day passes - $30.

Family $60 for a booklet of 3 coupons.  Regular cost of 3 Family day passes - $75.

The value of one or two booklets may be credited to a full season pass at any time.

The Try Our Trails coupons must be redeemed at The Ski Base for a day pass valid on that day only.

Hut to Hut to Hut

Come out on Saturday February 25 for our annual Hut to Hut to Hut tour.  Ski to Harvey's Hut (hosted by the Ski Patrol), Fireweed Hut (ski club board) and Sarah Steele Hut (Steele family),  eat some treats and you'll be elegible for draw prizes donated by Coast Mountain Sports.  The tour runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Fun for all!

The Challenge is on!

There is still time to get your challenge done!  Earn your wings, be be a Bush Pilot or take the 737 or 748 Challenge, or the Snowshoe Challenge.  You have until February 29 to complete the challenge.  The draw for the flights provided by our sponsor - Air North, the Yukon's Airline - will be held on February 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the Wax Room.  There will also be ski club memberships for next year and merchandise prizes provided by The Ski Base.

Change Room Closures

During the Arctic Winter Games (March 4-10), the change rooms will be closed to skiers for part of each day.  Hours will be posted shortly.  The wax room will remain open (regular hours) and most trails will be open to the public.
