Copper to the Haulroad, the Haulroad, Dog, Upper Valley, Lower Valley, Selwyn's Loop, Powerline, World Cup 10K and Pierre Harvey were groomed this morning. Excellent for classic and skating. One track only on Copper from Crossroads to Best Chance.
Conditions on all other trails are good but may include windblown sections with drifts and pine needles.
McIntyre Ascent and Descent were groomed Tuesday morning. The Ascent was reported to be good on Thursday. There could be drifted snow in sections. The Descent is in good condition but use caution since it is a shared trail.
Trail lights are on from dusk to 9:30 p.m. on weeknights.
Safety reminders:
- Carry a cell phone and let somebody know where you are skiing.
- Be prepared - carry matches, safety blanket, and hand warmers.
- Take a map and know where you are - be familiar with the emergency supply caches that are located on the trails.
And a few other reminders:
- WEAR YOUR SEASON PASS OR DAY PASS! This shows other skiers that you are sharing the costs of maintaining the trails.
- Wax Room closes at 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Trail maps are available at the Wax Room entrance, Visitor Centre, Icycle Sport and Coast Mountain Sports.
