Ski Instructor Certification (CANSI)
If you would like to instruct for any of the club’s ski schools, it is recommended that you have CANSI Level 1 certification. The advantage of CANSI certification is that you will be covered for liability insurance as long as you maintain your professional status with CANSI.
The Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) is a national association that provides training for potential ski instructors and certifies instructors. Level 1 CANSI will certify you to teach novice skiers. CANSI membership costs $70 per year.
